Devon stories...

Devon has been a crack up lately. He is suddenly a singer and he loves the theme song from Two and a Half Men (Men Men Men Men Manly Men...) only it comes out "Meh Meh Meh..." but he bops his head and gets really into it. Josh of course HATES that song and really HATES when I sing it to encourage Devon... but it's soooo cute.
He also is imitating us a lot more. I am a neurotic mouth wiper when I eat-- I just don't like dribbles. Well, a few nights ago, Devon picked up his napkin and started wiping his mouth in between bites. I know people always say that you become your parents (and I am learning it to be true in my case), but I never thought that would be a trait of mine that Devon would latch onto.
Unfortunately, one of Josh's habits he has picked up is imitating Quagmire on that Family Guy. Quagmire always says "GiggityGiggity... oh yeah" in a sleezy male play boy voice and Josh thinks it's pretty funny. So now Devon says "GiggityGiggity". Well more of a gurgling version of "giggitygiggity" but it sounds a lot like it. It is funny though and it usually is followed by tongue clicks.
He is a pretty good little helper too. When I start putting away toys, he always helps. Or he will throw things away for me. I was rearranging his room today though and was moving his sleep diapers. Well, he didn't like the new place I was putting them and kept pulling them out and placing them right back into the old drawer. He likes things his way, that's for sure.
I know I have more stories, I just can't think of any more at the moment. I will keep posting though as I remember them. Bye for now.

What a cutie! Little boys will say the darnest things! It is amazing what children will copy from their parents, just when you thought they were looking! Aunt Leslie
